Component Inspection

1. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF" & PSD "ON"
3. Erase the DTC.
4. Is the DTC erased?
YES
1) Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
1) Substitute with a known-good PSD and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PSD and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
